For any virtual HOA meetings conducted via Microsoft Teams, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you join seamlessly. Follow these instructions to stay connected and participate in our community discussions from wherever you are.
If you’re new to Teams or need a refresher, here are easy step-by-step instructions to help you join the meeting:
How to Join the Teams Meeting:
1. Check Your Email: Look for the meeting invitation email from the HOA. This email will contain a link to join the meeting. If you cannot find this in your email, please check the website’s main page at The Alcove at Hickory Creek HOA, Homeowners Association, City of Hickory Creek, Texas
2. Click the Meeting Link: Click on the “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting” link in the email.
3. Choose Your Joining Option: o Using a Computer: You can join through your web browser or the Teams app. If you don’t have the app, click “Continue on this browser” when prompted.
o Using a Mobile Device: If you have the Microsoft Teams app installed, it will open automatically. If not, you may need to download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
4. Adjust Audio & Video Settings: Before joining, you’ll have the option to turn your camera and microphone on or off. Adjust these settings as needed.
5. Click “Join Now”: Once you’re ready, click the Join Now button to enter the meeting.
